ABRCMS takes place yearly and is one of the largest professional networking conferences for underrepresented and minority scholars. ABRCMS is a major networking opportunity that draws upwards of 4,000 people. This event is attended by representatives from graduate programs at major U.S. universities, government agencies, foundations, and professional scientific societies. SACNAS is a yearly conference often attended by PREP students. SACNAS is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of Chicano/Hispanic and Native American scientists, from college students to professionals, in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM.
